Loteria Jewelry - La Sirena Pendant

Loteria is a well known game played throughout Mexico. Similar to bingo, players are shown images on playing cards, and match the images to those on their game card. The first one who matches a line or diagonal wins the round. The images from the Loteria game are iconic, inspiring nostalgia among those who know the game. San Antonio artist Carolyn Dublin has captured these images in her Loteria Jewelry series. Each piece is hand enameled and silver plated, and La Sirena is accented with inset cabochon lapis lazuli stones. The pendant measures approximately 7/8” x 1 1/2" and is accompanied by an 16” silver plated bead chain.
